TKMAXX BUYS

Today I wanted to do a post about the potential skincare bargains you can snap up at your local TKMAXX stores.  TKMAXX is a store chain in the UK that buys excess inventory from stores or designers for a discount and then passes the discount onto the customer.

It can be very hit and miss finding products in there, so you really need to have a good look when you visit.  In my latest visit I was able to pick up the following products at a discount:-

  • Dr.Jart+ Peptidin Firming Serum – Retail Price £34.00, I paid £14.00
  • Dr.Jart+ Liquid Moisturizing Toner Lotion – Retail Price £33.00, I paid £10.00
  • Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser – Retail Price £22.00, I paid £16.99

Bottom line – I paid £40.99 saving myself £48.01.

Always check the products in TKMAXX still have their factory seals on the packaging before purchasing.  You don’t want to end up buying something some other minger has tried on themselves.

Some people prefer to buy directly from the brands, which is great if you can afford it, but not everyone can.  This is when TKMAXX becomes useful to allow others access to products that would otherwise be out of their price range.

I personally prefer to buy directly from brands themselves, but on the odd occasion I will come across a few products in TKMaxx that I want to try – and the discount makes it even more tempting.  Ultimately the decision is up to you.
