This is nearly an empty now so it’s time for a review of the Clarins Eye Contour Gel. I’ve had this for a few months now. It surprisingly lasts quite a long time.
What is it?
A hydrating gel eye cream designed to minimise puffiness and dark circles.
What Do I Think?
Clarins make some beautiful skincare products. I really like their Eye Contour Gel. It’s hydrating and cooling making it perfect for first thing in the morning to revive tired eyes.
I can’t vouch much for the claims that it minimises dark circles (you’ll need a concealer for that). I do find it’s helpful at reducing puffiness thanks to the caffeine which can help awaken the eye. On the hydration front, it really packs a punch.
I always like the fact that the texture is a gel texture. Sometimes when my eyes are feeling puffy, I prefer something lighter around the eye area and so this becomes my go-to for tired eyes.
I don’t think Clarins Eye Contour Gel is for you if you have major eye concerns, such as wrinkles and fine lines. I think it’s good for people, like me, who do not have major concerns about their eye area and just want something hydrating and cooling.
