Drunk Elephant Time To Wake Up Mini’s Kit Review

Drunk Elephant Time To Wake Up Mini's

This is another one of my empties from October. I actually got this back in August as a gift from someone when it was my birthday. I really like mini products. They’re amazing for trying a product out without having to buy a full-size, which is often twice the price (or more).

I had never actually used any @drunkelephant products before, so this was my time using them and I was excited to give them a go. This little kit comes with two Drunk Elephant products and I have used them both up.

🧡 C-Firma Day Serum (8ml)
The C-Firma Day Serum is a Vitamin C serum formulated with L-Ascorbic and Ferulic acids to help brighten and even your skin and provide antioxidant support. This was a joy to use, I really, really liked it. I definitely found it helped with skin brightening. The texture was super nice – sort of oily, but not greasy or heavy. It sank in well, leaving a nice dewy finish and didn’t cause any problems with layering.

💙 B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (8ml)
This is a gel textured serum packed with provitamin B5 and pineapple ceramides. On paper, I should love this product but to be quite honest this was a little bit ‘meh’ to me. I felt maybe slightly more hydrated after using, but not an awful lot, so I wouldn’t really say it is “intensive”. I tried this one on its own one day thinking maybe I’d notice a difference by not using the C-Firma Serum but I can’t say I was blown away, especially as a full size of this costs approximately £40.

I tried both the products by layering them individually, mixing them together (named a cocktail by DE) and on their own.

I would definitely, 100% purchase a full sized C-Firma when I’m next in need of a Vitamin C and have the budget. The B-Hydra I wouldn’t. I would imagine people with super dry skin would find it beneficial, but I with normal skin can go without it. 🤷‍♂️

The kit itself is a nice way to try the products. It retails around £19 though it does sometimes go on sale for cheaper, so it’s not an awful lot of money lost if you end up not liking the products.

Have you tried either of these? Do you think I need to give the B-Hydra another
