My Review
This is a high strength Niacinamide Serum with added Zinc that will help minimize the look of pores, regulate sebum production and tackle the appearance of uneven skin tone. Niacinamide is also fantastic for strengthening the skins barrier functions. It can be used in the morning and evening as part of the serum step in your routine. This would be a great serum to use if you have breakout concerns, or wish to minimize the look of current blemishes.
I know a lot of people have had trouble with this serum and other Niacinamide serums, but I have to say my skin absolutely loved it! I have spot-prone skin, particularly around the temples, and I found this really helped regulate the oil being produced on my face. The serum had a nice texture and feel to it, and also played well with other serums. I would never feel ‘greasy’ by the end of the day after using this serum. It was also great at taking down some of the redness of any spots.
I would totally recommend this serum. It’s easy to use and incorporate into your routine. The results were good and this will help with balancing visible oil production. However, it will not be a cure for acne. It will help, but it’s not a cure on its own. Note: Deciem advise not using this serum with a Vitamin C product at the same time.
