CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Review

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser

CeraVe is everywhere at the moment, especially the Hydrating Cleanser. Does it live up the hype? Lets see!

My Review

This is a gentle, non-foaming gel like cleanser that contains 3 essential ceramides to help protect the skin barrier. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid that will help retain the skins natural moisture. I have been using this predominately as my morning cleanse.

I love this for my morning cleanse. It’s effective, refreshing and nice to use. My skin definitely feels hydrated after using it and I can absolutely see why it’s a favourite for most people. Since the colder weather arrived, I have appreciated having this in my routine even more to help deter any dryness I sometimes experience after cleansing. The added ceramides are a welcome addition – I just think ceramides are great.

Yep – it’s nice to have in your collection as second or morning cleanse. It’s a bit joyless in terms of the fact there is no scent, and the packaging is a bit of an eye sore (sorry I just think the packaging looks a bit shite 😂). I think all skin types would enjoy using this, but if you are particular acne-prone you may wish to check out the SA Smoothing Cleanser instead.
