My Review
This is a one-use rubber mask aimed at providing instant hydration for healthy looking skin, and to help stimulate delivery of active ingredients. This mask is made of rubber and so isn’t pre-soaked like usual sheet masks. What you have to do is apply the “Intensive Hydrating Ampoule” to your face and then wear the rubber mask for up to 40 minutes to try and lock in the hydration.
I used this on a day when my skin felt really dry and I found this to be sufficiently hydrating. After use my skin felt plumper and looked less dull. I had no issues with the mask sliding off my face, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable with it on for around 40 minutes. I think this is a nice mask for a pamper evening as a sort-of fun thing to do, or perhaps just before going out-out (hopefully we’ll be allowed for a night out-out soon 😉).
For those hoping it will solve your hydration problems, I feel it will but only for a couple of hours or until the next day at the most. Luckily Dr.Jart+ has some excellent hydrating serums, moisturisers and essences which I would absolutely recommend you check out over this one-time-use sheet mask.
