Kate Somerville DeliKate is a range of skincare products that Kate Somerville released in April this year.
DeliKate is all about skin recovery and calming damaged, sensitive or irritated skin. The original idea was to use these products to support clients post-treatment who have had clinical peels. Acids, retinol and potent actives are being used at home more than ever, upsetting many skincare fanatics skin, and so Kate decided to release these products to the world for at home use.
DeliKate® promises and is clinically proven to calm irritation, reduce visible redness and help restore a health skin barrier. There are currently three products across the range:-
- Delikate® Soothing Cleanser
- Delikate® Recovery Serum
- Delikate® Recovery Cream
Ingredients across the range are gentle, replenishing and soothing. There is a heavy use of Amino Acids, Peptide Complexes and Ceramides across the products making it perfect for stressed skin.
The packaging across the range is really quite beautiful. I’m a guy and even I can appreciate how pretty the lilac colour is that has been chosen.
I do have sensitive skin from time-to-time, especially during the colder winter months, so this range of products screamed out to me to try.
The price point for these products will not suit everyone’s wallet. There used to be a kit that included all three products for a discount, but it doesn’t appear to be available anymore. Hopefully Kate Somerville will bring this back to make it a bit more accessible to all.
This range appears to have picked up quite a cult following and is adored by many. I’ve been using these products for over a month and over the next couple of days I’m going to post a review of each product in the range so be sure to check back over the next couple of days to see what I think.
