Kate Somerville DeliKate Soothing Cleanser
Every routine starts off with a good cleanser, so what better way to kick off my reviews on the Kate Somerville DeliKate range than to start with the Soothing Cleanser.
My Review
The DeliKate® Soothing Cleanser is a soft, gentle creamy cleanser that aims to recover and restore the skins protective barrier while helping relieve redness, burning, tightness and itching.
This really is a fabulous cleanser that helps relieve stressed, dry and irritated skin. It’s probably one of the gentlest cleansers I’ve ever used in my life. Being fragrance free this will attract the fragrance haters but it also contains some fantastic ingredients to support a healthy skin barrier. I apply a small amount to wet skin and massage in for 30 seconds before rinsing. After use my skin always feels soft, hydrated and most importantly clean. I’ve recently stopped double cleansing, so I have been using this product alone and I find it sufficient enough to clean my skin without the need for an additional cleanser.
I would absolutely recommend the DeliKate® Cleanser for anyone who has super irritated, stressed skin or anyone who wants a gentle fragrance free cleanser. Anyone currently using prescription strength retinoids, or undergoing professional treatment that is going through the sore, dry stage will hugely benefit from having this in their life. It’s so gentle and soothing, it’s like a hug for your skin when it needs it. As a side note, I find the Goats Milk Cleanser more pleasant to use purely because it has a lovely sweet vanilla/honey scent to it.
