My Review
This is an Glycolic acid based product which is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that is a chemical exfoliator. Chemical exfoliators by nature will improve skin radiance, remove dead skin cells that can block pores and cause spots, and improve skin texture. AHA’s increase skins sensitivity to sun, so it is important you are wearing SPF when you have used this product.
This is a nice acid to have in your routine for your ‘acid toning’ or exfoliation stage. I tend to use this in the evening maybe 2-3 times a week. It’s super effective and will give my skin a nice glow after use, as well as helping fade some pigmentation I’ve got from old spots. I apply it to my skin with a cotton pad and will leave it for 20-30 minutes to do its job before carrying on with my routine. I’ve not experienced any irritation after using this, but it is something to be aware of as Glycolic Acid doesn’t suit everyone’s skin. It’s a simple formulation that works and I’ve always been pleased with the results from using it.
I would definitely recommend but I think it’s important to note that although this is a named a toning solution, I think it’s too strong to be used every single day especially if you have easily irritated or sensitive skin. I would therefore recommend you only use it 2-3 times a week, or possibly every other day at the most to prevent over exfoliation. Glycolic Acid tends to be an acid that people experience irritation with, so ensure you listen to how your skin feels and stop use if major irritation occurs.

How I use it
After cleansing either morning or evening, I will soak a cotton pad and then swipe over my face. I will always make sure I wear a sunscreen too, preferably a factor 50 after using this.

How Much?
£6.80 / 240ml. This is a big-fat bottle so will last you quite a while. I’ve had mine quite a while and as you can see I’ve got quite a lot left to use!
