Indeed Labs Retinol Reface Review

Indeed Labs Retinol Reface

I really enjoy the Indeed Labs products. There is no bullshit claims on their merchandise and they make a great range of different products for all different skin types. I’ve been using the Indeed Labs Retinol Reface cream on-and-off for a few years.

My Review

This is a retinol, bakuchiol and peptides based cream-serum hybrid. Retinol (Vitamin A) is the most effective ingredient to help improve the appearance of visible signs of aging. This product has the added benefit of peptides which helps with firmness.

This really is one of my favourite retinol products on the market. Although it’s a low-strength product, the results you get from it are fantastic. I’m not a believer that you have to be using a high strength retinol in order to achieve good results. Low strength will give you the same results, albeit at a slower pace. My skin always looks healthy, glowy and smooth after consistent use with this product. The texture is nice and it slides on like a dream. I’ve never experienced any redness or irritation when using this one – it is so gentle and packed with superb moisturising ingredients. The only bad thing I would say about it is that sometimes you have to pump quite a bit to get any product out. I’m not sure if the tube is over filled with air or if it’s a pump problem.

For anyone who wants an introduction to retinol, or who perhaps struggles with using higher strength ones, you absolutely need to try this one. The instructions do not say how many pumps to apply, which most retinol serums normally state, so I’m unsure how much I should be using. I tend to use 2-3 pumps which covers my face and neck, which I think is sufficient. Ensure you are wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day when using this product (I mean, you should be using one every day regardless – but especially after using retinol!).
