Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum Review

Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum

The Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum seems to be one of the hero products of the range. I haven’t come across a bad review for it yet, so let’s see what I think…

What is it?

This is a toner/serum hybrid that will help shrink pores, improve the look of dark spots, brighten and prevent shine.

My Review

I can totally understand why this is called fat water. It’s not like your typical toner which is runny and watery. Being a toner/serum hybrid, this has a much thicker consistency. It’s super hydrating and will help nourish your skin post-cleanse. The addition of Niacinamide to the formula is most welcome, as this will be the key ingredient that will help minimize the look of pores. While Witch Hazel has soothing properties (in small doses). It sinks in well and seems to play well with other serums and products you might use afterwards. There’s a faint fragrance to it to mask the smelly ingredients in the toner, but the fragrance isn’t as strong as the other products in the line.

Would I recommend?

I think this is another good product from the range, but it’s not hugely essential. If you are already using hydrating serums, such as Hyaluronic Acid or serums that contain Niacinamide, you can give this one a miss. It’s not ground-breaking, but it’s nice to use if you feel you need it or want to try it. It’s easy to incorporate into your routine, and I can imagine all skin types can use this and reap the benefits.
