Anyone who reads my posts will know I love a Your Good Skin cleanser which are available to purchase in Boots. They have four in their range now which I rate for different purposes/skintypes. The best thing about this range of cleansers is that they’re so affordable, ranging from £6.00 to £10.00. Below are my opinions on when they are best used and for what skin type. All of their cleansers are SLS, fragrance and paraben free.
Refreshing Face Wash
For: All Skin Types
When: AM
Description: I find this works best as a light AM cleanse. It’s slightly foaming on the skin, but not stripping and will do a good job at removing last nights products.
£6.00 / 150ml
Blemish Clearing Calming Cream Cleanser
For: Oilier, Acne Prone Skin Types
When: AM or PM as a second cleanse
Description: This is a godsend for helping to prevent blemishes if you are sensitive to using acids. I personally wouldn’t use it every single day, despite the brands recommendation to. I would instead use it 2-3 times a week. It has a gorgeous feel to it.
Price: £7.00 / 125ml
Nourishing Hot Cloth Cleanser
For: Normal or dryer skin types
When: PM as a first cleanse
Description: This is a ‘dupe’ to the Elizabeth Arden Hot Cloth Cleanser. It’s rich, hydrating and nice to use. I think this works best as a first cleanse to breakdown make-up/SPF.
Price: £10.00 / 125ml
Comforting Gel Cleanser
For: Normal or dryer skin types
When: AM or PM as a first cleanse
Description: This is a gel that transforms into an oil when worked into the skin. You could use this AM or PM, but I feel it would work best as a PM first cleanse.
Price: £6.00 / 125ml
