I’m back! I took a week off from Instagram – work was busy and I just felt like it.
So my April empties consisted mostly of minis. I’m making a real effort to get through some of the minis I’ve accumulated over time. Most of these were gifts with purchases, or came with little trial sets.

❤ Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
I adored this one. It was perfect for a morning cleanse. I will definitely repurchase this in the future once I’ve gotten through some of my other cleansers I have.
❌ Clarins Soothing Gentle Foaming Cleanser & Purifying Gentle Foaming Cleanser
I liked these ones, but it just wasn’t anything special? It was just a like an average foaming cleanser. There wasn’t anything wrong with it, I just don’t see myself rushing out to buy it anytime soon.
❤ Clarins Velvet Cleansing Milk
Yes! I loved this. It was velvety (not unsurprising given the name), had a lovely clean scent to it and was effective. In fact, I found the discontinued version in TKMaxx this weekend so I picked it up. I prefer the reformulated version, but its still nice.
❤ No7 HydaLuminous Water Surge Gel
Now, this is one I really like. I got it as part of a giftset for Christmas and I used this as my daytime moisturiser over March and April. I found it perfect for my dry skin. It’s a gel texture moisturiser – very similar to Clinique Moisture Surge – and is nicely hydrating. I can definitely see myself repurchasing this.
❤ SkinCity 24H Barrier Extreme Cream
Words cannot describe how much I loved this (as you can see I’ve already taken the scissors to it!). It’s possibly my best find so far this year. I am 1000000% going to buy a full size. I’ve got a post coming up on Skin City Skincare so be sure to check that out!
❤ Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream
Again, I loved this moisturiser. The scent was beautiful and it was sufficiently hydrating. I used this as my night-time moisturiser. Would repurchase if I happen to need a moisturiser.
