The Ordinary Buffet Multi-Technology Peptide Serum Review

The Ordinary Buffet Multi-Technology Peptide Serum

The Ordinary Buffet serum was one of my first ever purchases from The Ordinary and I’ve repurchased it multiple times. I was supposed to post this a while ago but kept forgetting to 😂

What is it?

“Buffet” is described as an opulent feast for the skin. It’s a water based serum that contains an array of anti-ageing ingredients, including multiple peptide complexes like Matrixyl 3000 to stimulate collagen, hyaluronic acid for hydration to help plump fine lines and 11 skin-friendly amino acids.

What do I think about it?

It’s a gorgeous lightweight serum that offers an array of benefits to users who are seeking a more nourished, youthful complexion. It’s one of those products that you could use on its own without any other serums and reap the benefits. I will tend to use this one its own if I just want a simple routine between cleansing and moisturising. This absorbs nicely into the skin, and is sufficiently hydrating. Peptides are one of those things where you won’t notice an immediate difference, but over long term use you will reap the benefits.

Some people use peptides to stimulate hair growth. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence, or if it’s because I just notice more because I’m aware people use it for this reason, but I do find my eye brows seem to grow quicker when using this serum? I’d be interested to know if anyone else has found this?

Would I recommend?

Yes, it’s cheap and nice to use. If you’re looking to introduce peptides into your routine, give this one a go.

After cleansing and before moisturiser. I’d use morning and evening.

Would I repurchase?

Yes – for the price it’s a really nice serum to have in your stash.

£12.70 / 30ml or £24.10 / 60ml. I personally always go for the £12.70 one because it’s cheaper, and it does last a long time. You only need a few drops of The Ordinary Buffet serum.
