Zelens Power D Treatment Drops Review

Zelens Power D Treatment Drops

This is a Zelens product that gets a lot of hype on Instagram and in the skincare community. I’ve used this up and I’m ready to post my thoughts… hold tight… you might be surprised about what I have to say about the Zelens Provitamin D Treatment Drops….

What is it?

This is a facial oil rich in Provitamin D and Bio-Mimetic Lipids that should replenish and fortify the epidermis to help restore the skins natural barrier and boost resilience.

What do I think about it?

Zelens Provitamin D Treatment Drops gets a lot of hype. I’m honestly not sure I can understand why people love it so much?

I feel that this is just a nice facial oil and that’s it. It didn’t do much to prevent or resolve any irritation I got, I saw no results whilst using it or when I stopped. Plus it’s expensive. We’re talking £45.00 for 10ml! Would I pay £45 for a nice facial oil? MAYBE if I saw results, and possibly if it was 30ml.

I started using this in January and I’ve just finished it last month (I used it every other day in my evening routine). It smells – to put it bluntly – like fairy washing up liquid. I’m not fussed on fragrance, but I had to put that out there. A good thing about it is that it sinks in nicely and doesn’t feel overly greasy.

Would I recommend?

Save your pennies ladies. If you want a nice facial oil there’s loads out there at a much more affordable price point. I feel there are better serums out there for repairing the skin barrier – the Kate Somerville DeliKate serum being one of them. It seems to work wonders for others though – this is just my opinion.

No – sorry Zelens 😢

Where to Buy

I have heard that this product has been reformulated recently, so in this review I’m talking about purely about the old formulation. I have no idea if the new one is good, but if you have tried the old and new let us know what you think in the comments 👇

EDIT: After I posted this on Instagram I had a lot of comments from people who said that it worked wonders for them. I suppose this might be a case of “what works for me may not work for you” and vice versa.
