Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter Review

Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter

This orange beauty contains Pumpkin Enzymes and Acerola Chery which are both rich in AHAs to help brighten the skin, and omega fatty acids to smooth and cleanse the skin. I’m getting Autumn feels with the Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter. 🎃

What is it?

A buttery cleansing balm that cleans the face and gentle exfoliates by use of AHA’s within the formulation.

What do I think about it?

The buttery texture helps guarantee that your face is cleansed, without stripping it. After use you do get a lovely glow and despite being an exfoliating cleanser, you do not end up with any redness or irritation, making it great for use before a night out.

The biggest surprise for me when I tried this was that it doesn’t appear to have any scent whatsoever. I was expecting something, especially given the deep colour.

You can use this cleanser as a mask if you want to, just massage into the skin and leave for 10 mins before rinsing. I have used it as a mask, but my favourite thing to do with it is just to spend time giving myself a facial massage when it’s on. I don’t tend to use it every day, but you could if you wanted to – I just prefer to save it for a little treat. 💆‍♂️

Would I recommend?

Absolutely! I really love it. It feels amazing and leaves my skin looking really fresh and smooth post cleanse. It’s not been too drying for me either. This is actually my first ever Elemis product and my partner bought this for me for Christmas. I have to say, I think he hit the ball out of the park with this one!
