Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist Review

Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist

If you saw my empties last week you will see that I wasn’t a fan of the Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist. I feel a little nervous posting this because I didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would, and I know this product is beloved by many. 🙈

What is it?

This is marketed as a multi-active mist that aims to hit the skin with a boost of hydration, using its blend of probiotics, 5% Niacinamide, Silver Mango Extract & Antioxidants while brightening, soothing and reducing imperfections.

What do I think about it?

I didn’t find this particularly hydrating, and I can’t say that I experienced anything else that this mist promised to do. The scent was also unpleasant – almost vinegary.

One of my biggest complaints with this one was that it didn’t seem to last very long. I did a max of 2 sprits per routine, and only used this in the morning and I want to say this lasted me about a month? Normally with mists I’m chomping at the bit to finish them, but this one seemed to just go in a flash… without any benefit.

Would I recommend?

I know many others love this mist, so I think this could be a case of not all products work the same for everyone. That’s the thing with skincare, you never know what will work for you. I personally can’t recommend it because I didn’t feel it did anything for me.

Brands Product Description

The ideal travel companion, our mist is supercharged with a special anti-evaporation molecule so that it clings to the skin’s surface instead of simply vanishing. Every spritz delivers a potent dose of soothing actives and restorative nutrients like Silver, Silk Amino Acids, and Ergothioneine, that work throughout the day to refine the appearance of pores and counteract the effects of jetlag and fatigue. This refreshing yet potent formula acts immediately to calm, hydrate and protect the skin from environmental aggressors while also maximising the benefits of all subsequent steps in your skincare routine.

Key Ingredients

Niacinamide, Lactobacillus Ferment, Silver, Silk Amino Acids, Mango and Acai Fruit Extract, Glutathione, Ergothioneine

How I use it

In the morning or evening straight after cleansing.

Would I repurchase?

Given its quite expensive – £57.00 for 50ml – I wouldn’t repurchase because I didn’t see the results I had hoped for, and it didn’t seem to last long. I can think of several other mists I prefer that are much cheaper – the La Roche-Posay Toleriane one being one of them.

How Much?

£57.00 / 50ml.
