Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream SPF50

Here’s a sunscreen I absolutely adore and ticks all the boxes in what I look for in a sunscreen – the Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream SPF50.

What is it?

This is marketed as a multi-active mist that aims to hit the skin with a boost of hydration, using its blend of probiotics, 5% Niacinamide, Silver Mango Extract & Antioxidants while brightening, soothing and reducing imperfections.

What do I think about it?

Firstly, it has an ultra-lightweight texture that dissolves immediately into the skin. It also absorbs so well, so no endless massaging in with this one.

Secondly, I also find it intensely hydrating, which is perfect for my dry skin. In the summer months, I will totally skip using a moisturiser when using this one, as it really is sufficient on its own.

Thirdly, there’s absolutely no white cast when using this, and it has the best subtle scent to it – it honestly smells delicious.

It does leave a glow which verges very closely towards a bit too shiny for my liking, but nothing that a bit of Trinny London Face Finish wouldn’t sort out.

Would I recommend?

Yes – it’s a really nice hydrating sunscreen.

Brands Product Description

A beautiful moisturiser-meets-sunscreen, Thank You Farmer’s Sun Project Water Sun Cream SPF 50+ has an ultra-light texture that diffuses beautifully – infusing skin with precious water (thanks to high levels of hyaluronic acid), while deflecting DNA-damaging rays. Plumping and thirst-quenching, this grants a natural, dewy finish (with no chalky cast), while the inclusion of mistletoe extract helps stimulate cellular turnover – encouraging repair and renewal processes, to minimise the damage caused through everyday exposure to the sun and oxidative stress.

How I use it

In my morning routine after serums. I find it’s hydrating enough to be used without a moisturiser, and my skin is dry.

Would I repurchase?

Absolutely! With a discount code though, which brings me to…

How Much?

The only thing that lets this product down is that it costs £18.00 from Cult Beauty for 50ml, which is a little bit pricier than I’d like, compared to the Garnier Fluid which comes in at £8, but I would absolutely say it’s worth it if you can afford it. You can also pick it up slightly cheaper from Korean stores such as StyleVana
