Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging & Intensive Repair Daily Serum Review

Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging & Intensive Repair Daily Serum

I really love some Elizabeth Arden products, but I hadn’t ever tried anything from the Prevage range due to the price. When I saw this Anti-Aging & Intensive repair serum in a set at TKMaxx for £24.00 I snapped it up immediately.  The serums retail price alone is £182.00 so it was silly not to.

What is it?

An ‘anti-ageing’ serum.

What do I think?

Let’s get straight to the point – would I pay full price for this serum? Sorry, but no. I cannot justify spending £182.00 on a serum, unless perhaps you’re mega rich and can buy it without thinking about it. Even then I would still personally say it’s questionable.

Ingredients wise, it has some nice peptides in it, Arazine for anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant protection and Retinyl Linoleate (a retinol ester).  There’s also mica in it, to give your skin an immediate glow due to the light reflecting pigments.

If I saw it in TKMaxx again for the same price point, I would think about repurchasing, but I didn’t see any amazing results from using it that I haven’t seen from other products at a fraction of the full price.  I don’t feel for my skin it’s worth the full price.

Luckily, Elizabeth Arden make a whole range of products and some of the ones I do love and would recommend from her range is the Advanced Ceramide range, the capsules and some of the eight-hour products.

Would I recommend?

At the retail price, no, sorry. £182 is a lot of money – you can get a lot of skincare for that price.
