Tonight’s Routine & Trinny London Cleanser First Impression

Trinny London Be Your Best Enzyme Balm Cleanser Medik8 Bakuchiol Peptides & Clarins Double Serum Glossier Bubblewrap Eye Cream Kate Somerville Total Repair Cream

This is the routine I’ve decided upon tonight. I’m focusing on hydration and skin nourishment with this one. My Trinny London cleanser also arrived after ordering them on launch day, so I’ve included a first impression below.

Cleanser – Trinny London Be Your Best Enzyme Balm Cleanser

My first impression of the Trinny London Be Your Best Enzyme Balm Cleanser are good. It leaves my skin clean, but most importantly hydrated. The scent is subtle – not overpowering in anyway. Picture walking through an English Herb Garden in the summer months. It emulsifies nicely into a milk consitency when water is added. I’ll of course do a full review at a later date.

Serum – Medik8 Bakuchiol Peptides & Clarins Double Serum

I’ve gone for these two. Probably a little bit overkill going for two oil based products, but oh well.

The Medik8 is one that’s really impressed me. I’m usually a little bit snobbish about Bakuchiol because I’d rather just use a retinoid than a ‘natural retinol alternative’, but actually it’s a really nice serum. They’ve popped peptides in their for added well-ageing benefits.

The Double Serum is a classic. I’ve been reaching for it a lot recently in the cold weather. It’s comforting on the skin, instantly plumping and hydrating.

Eye Cream – Glossier Bubblewrap Eye Cream

GLOSSIER! I AM SO ANGRY AT YOU FOR DISCONTINUING THIS. It’s honestly the most perfect eye cream. It’s hydrating, has a beautiful texture, doesn’t irritate my eyes. Can we please have it back 🙏

Moisturiser – Kate Somerville Total Repair Cream

A little bit obsessed with this one too. It’s an indulgence, but worth every penny in my opinion. I can tell the next day when I’ve used this on my face the night before. It just makes my skin look good.
