Trinny London BFF SPF 30 Cream Review

Trinny London BFF SPF30 Cream

Do you ever have those days where you wake up and despite your best skincare efforts your skin just looks meh? The BFF SPF 30 Cream by Trinny London has become my cheat to a good skin day.

What is it?

A skin perfecting cream that contains SPF30.

What do I think?

I wasn’t sure if this was going to be for me, but watching Trinny’s skincare videos where she frequently mentioned this product convinced me I needed to give this a try.

This is a SPF30 cream that comes out the tube a whitish colour. I apply with my hands, like a moisturiser and when massaged into the skin, the microencapsulated pigments work to blend and adjust to the colour of your skin tone.  The result is a beautiful, subtle evenness of skin tone and a glow to the skin that just makes you healthy.  The coverage is super light, so unsuspecting people wouldn’t know you’re wearing anything, but they will just think you’re having an amazing skin day.

Men out there, I was hesitant at first but this is so subtle that it’s the perfect product to try.  It also doesn’t clump into my facial hair on the days I just can’t be bothered to shave.

It’s available in 5 different shades. I opt for Light in the winter and then sometimes reach for Light-Medium in the summer. You can use the infamous Match to Me tool on the website to discover what shade works best for you depending on your hair, eye and skin.

Another thing I love about this is the scent. I really can’t explain it but it smells absolutely delicious.  So good, I’m tempted to have a little taste sometimes (I haven’t tasted it… yet 😂).

I would love for a bigger tube to be available, like a 50ml or dare I say 100ml. Hopefully in the future 🤞!

It’s become one of those products in my arsenal that I have a backup for the backup too.

Would I recommend?

Absolutely! From time-to-time we all need a little help making our skin looks good. I know I do! If you’re looking for a nice CC-Cream-esque product then it’s worth giving this one a try. It’s not for someone who wants heavy coverage though. This is very, very light coverage. The added bonus of SPF30 is excellent too.

In my morning routine after moisturiser. If it’s a very sunny day, I would wear this over a seperate SPF50. Actually, that’s another thing I’m adding to my wishlist from Trinny London – a SPF50 sunscreen!

Would I repurchase?

Yes! I have, multiple times…

How Much?

£39.00- certainly not cheap, but for me it’s worth every penny. Here’s a little tip for you – go to the Stacks + Sets section of the site. You often get a bundle of products cheaper than if you were to buy them individually.
