REN Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask

This REN Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask was a little pick me up in TKMaxx. Honestly, the only reason I bought it was because it was £9.99 and I was in the mood to buy something. I have to say, I am really enjoying it.

I’m a huge lover of products that aim to soothe, calm and moisturise the skin – even when my skin isn’t feeling particulary sensitised. I find that using products that nurture and hydrate helps to just keep my skin looking healthy, especially when used alongside stronger treatments.

What is it?

A mask designed to calm, hydrate and soothe the skin.

What do I think?

The texture I am absolutely obsessed with. It has a glorious, thick cream consistency that when applied to skin gets to work soothing, hydrating and calming any sensitivity. As a dry skin person, this is the kind of mask I need, especially if I am coming home from a long walk out in the cold.

When I damaged my skin barrier a few months back, this was a saviour in the sense that it just put the fire out. After use my skin no longer felt hot and as irritated – it was a lot calmer.

It’s also great on a Sunday morning if you’re anything like me and decide it’s a good idea to get plastered on a Saturday night, wreaking havoc on your skin in the process.

Would I recommend?

Yes – it’s great if your skin needs instant soothing or easing. It would be perfect to use a couple times of week if your using a strong retinoid.
