Trinny London Cleansers Review

Trinny London Better Off Trinny London Be Your Best

Trinny London has finally launched skincare after months of teasing and waiting. They’re releasing them in chapters with the first being cleansers.

I have been a huge fan of Trinny Woodall’s skincare videos for a number of years. She’s actually one of the main people who influenced me to have a go at opening my Instagram page and review different skincare products.

Imagine my excitement when she announced she was launching a skincare line and here we have Trinny London Cleansers.

I snagged both the new cleansers the day they launched and have been using them a little over a month now. I am loving both and am really enjoying using them in my routines.

The scent of both products is beautiful – like walking through an English herb garden at summer. The packaging is sturdy and it looks great. The vibrant look makes them stand out in my bathroom among my other products. As an added bonus, the Trinny London Cleansers are also refillable making future purchases cheaper and more environmentally friendly.

Be Your Best Enzyme Balm Cleanser

What is it?

This is a gorgeous oil based cleansing balm that will remove your SPF & makeup with ease. It contains enzymes which activate when water is added to gently exfoliate dead skin cells.

What do I think?

Texture wise, it reminds me of the Jordan Samuel After Show Treatment Cleanser, so if you like that you would probably like this too.

Two pumps is all you need to cleanse your face, and after cleansing my skin does not feel stripped, just nourished, clean and soft.

It comes with a muslin cloth to remove, but I find that it’s easy enough to rinse off if you’re thorough enough. I like to apply it to dry skin, massage in and them emulsify a little with water and then splash off. When emulsified with water, you get a slight milky consistency.

Would I recommend?

Yes! I think it’s a great cleansing balm.

Designed to boost radiance and nourish skin, our formulation is kind to your microbiome for happier, healthier-looking skin morning and evening. Includes our T-Towel muslin cloth.

Key Ingredients

Glycolipids, Pineapple enzyme, Almond, borage and linseed oils, Prebiotic complex

How I use it

In the evening, I’d apply it to dry skin, massage in. After a while I will then wet my hands with water and massage a little more because rinsing off. They advise you to remove using the muslin cloth, but I prefer to rinse.

Would I repurchase?

Yes!

How Much?

£32.00 / £26.00 for a refill

Better Off AHA/PHA Gel Cleanser

What is it?

This is a gel treatment cleanser that uses Lactic, Malic and Lactobionic acids to cleanse a little deeper and give your skin a bit of gentle exfoliation. There is a very slight foam when it contacts water, but I certainly wouldn’t say its a foaming cleanser.

What do I think?

As a dry skin person, I was worried I would find this too stripping for me, but I haven’t personally felt any dryness after using it.

I like that they’ve opted to do an exfoliating cleanser. Having acids within your cleanser is so beneficial. It gives that deeper clean.

The scent first thing in the morning is a real treat. It’s fresh, and really wakes you up.

Would I recommend?

Yes. I have dry skin and I get on with it well, so I think most people would get on with it.

Brands Product Description

Our exfoliating conditioning gel allows you to go a little deeper with your cleansing ritual. Its active, kind-to-skin formula works to thoroughly clean without stripping your skin, gently exfoliating to help reveal your natural glow.

Key Ingredients

Quillaja, Lactic + malic acid, Lactobionic acid, Natural inulin

How I use it

In the morning I will apply to wet skin, massage in and then rinse off. In the evening, if I were to double cleanse, I will use this after Be Your Best.

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

How Much?

£28.00 / £22.00 for a refill

I personally I find both products work well to remove grime on their own without the need to double cleanse, but when used together, your skin looks radiant and feels amazingly soft and clean.

My favourite of the two are is the balm cleanser, but only because I love a gel-to-oil cleansing balm and it’s designed for someone with normal to dry skin.

I’m very excited for the next chapters. Which one of the Trinny London Cleansers are you most eager to try?
