A new product from Clear Skin Days. It’s a ‘Pore Refining Solution’ (i.e. Acid Exfoliant).
What do I think?
Their BHA PHA Pore Refining Solution is formulated with 2 different types of acid – Betaine Salicylate (BHA) and Gluconolactone (PHA) – to improve skin tone and texture by unclogging pores and removing blackheads, while providing a gentle exfoliation to reduce dullness. It also contains Chamomile Extract to soothe and calm the skin, making it a good choice if you’re a little bit on the sensitive side.
Sounds great doesn’t it?
Texture wise, we’re talking a watery-gel consistency (if that makes any sense at all?!) and I’m pleased that when I use it my skin hasn’t felt dry, which can sometimes happen to me when using BHA based products.
One of the things I like is that it clearly advises you what ingredients not to use alongside this product as a precaution, making it easy for newcomers to skincare to slot into their routine.
Would I recommend?
Yes, it’s a lovely product if your concerns are blackheads, dullness and enlarged pores, and breakouts. This will not remove pores (all skin has pores and it’s impossible to remove them) but it will certainly help them look reduced.
