No7 released their capsules last year and one of them released were their Advanced Ingredients 100% Plant Derived & Pure Squalane Capsules.

What do I think?
Squalane is a wonderful oil to use due to being an emollient that helps prevent moisture loss and restores suppleness to skin. It is surprisingly lightweight and non-greasy, making it an excellent choice for use within skincare products.
As someone with dry skin, I love a bit of squalane oil. It’s innocuous to the skin, feels nice but nourishing and isn’t too heavy for those who can’t stand the feel of an oil on their skin. It’s one of the oils you really can’t go wrong with and is very good to use when your skin barrier is compromised.
One of the things that’s great about capsuled skincare is the fact that it makes it so easy to travel with. You can pop a couple of capsules in your washbag without the need to bring a big glass bottle.
I usually use these capsules if my skin is in need of some immediate relief from dryness. The capsules contain just the right amount of product to spread evening across your face, neck and chest. My preference is to mix this in with a moisturiser. I’ve been using it with the Kate Somerville Goat Milk moisturiser and the combination is just *chefs kiss*.
Would I recommend?
I love No7 products, but these capsules are very expensive for what they are. The standard price is £19.95 and you get 30 capsules (£0.66 per capsule). You can easily pick up a 30ml bottle of pure Squalane oil from other brands for a quarter of that price. I can’t happily recommend these to others on that basis, UNLESS perhaps you really wanted them or you needed something convenient to take for a holiday or something.
If you do a lot of travel and want your Squalane Oil in capsule format then these would be great for you, but otherwise save your pennies and get yourself a decent sized bottle for a lot cheaper, and a lot more uses.
