Medik8 get a lot of love and it’s all for a good reason. The research that go into the products they release is astounding. Medik8 has received critical acclaim from all manner of industry experts, influencers and consumers.
Their philosophy for a good skincare routine is simple, but effective and it compromises of Vitamin C & Sunscreen in the morning and Vitamin A in the evening. It’s a philosophy I’ve very much adopted.
Here are a couple of products I’m loving by them in my routine. I’ll add that I’m currently out of my beloved C-Tetra serum. I’ve been testing some other Vitamin C serums but I will definitely go back to it.
Press & Glow
A daily exfoliating PHA toner, which helps exfoliate the surface of your skin, whilst hydrating it. Works wonders and is perfect for us dry skinned people.
Gentle Cleanse
I came across this by way of an advent calendar. Do not be put off by the fact it’s foaming. Its super gentle and I really like this for a morning cleanse.
Natural Clay Mask
I use this only on areas I tend to get congested (my temples). It really helps detox and balance my skin. As an added bonus, it smells gorgeous. When I have used it on my whole face, it hasn’t dried it out.
Crystal Retinal 3
I should have mentioned previously that Medik8 are experts in Vitamin A. This is their beginner in retinal that is proven to deliver results up to 11x quicker than retinol. They do varying strengths and you should start with this one and work your way up.
Blemish SOS
A targeted spot treatment, that I truly think helps nip any pesky spots in the bud. It’s really great at reducing the size of the pimple. I like to keep it on hand in case I get a spot arise before a night out.
Tube Squeezer
I don’t know how I lived without one of these for so long. It’s a total game change. I’m now able to squeeze every last drop of product out the tube. So pleased I managed to get this in their Celebrated kit.
