Sometimes we all get those days when we want a luxurious night time routine and pull out the best-of-the-best products we have in our stashes.
This one in particular tackles ageing of the skin, making use of Retinoids and Peptides. I’m really not one for lots of steps in a routine in the evening. My usual routine consists of cleanse, serum (maybe 2 serums depending on which one I’m using – I’ll only use 1 if I’m using a retinoid serum), eye cream, then moisturiser.

I’ve been reaching for this a lot recently. It’s a really nice budget-friendly cleansing balm that will melt away sunscreen, dirt and makeup, but leave your skin gloriously moisturised.
No7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream
I really think this is a great retinol eye cream. It’s gentle, but effective. Sometimes retinol eye creams can cause me a little bit of irritation around the eyes, but I’m pleased to report that I havent ever experienced irritation with this one.
Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum
This is my current retinol serum I’m using at the moment. I tend to use retinol serums 2-3 times a week to allow my skin to recover a little bit and stop it getting sensitised. I’m testing this one at the moment more than 2-3 times a week to see if I get any irritation and will report back when I post a full review.
Kate Somerville KateCeuticals Total Repair Cream
I posted an overview of the KateCeuticals range recently. I’ve really become obsessed with this. It’s hydrating despite the very small amount you need, but I also see a visible reduction in redness on my skin when I use it. Add in the fact that it contains peptides and ceramides, it’s a perfect cream to layer with your retinol serum.
