Here’s a few products I’ve been shoving on my face and loving in May.
Aldi Lacura Multi-Peptide Moisturiser
A supposed dupe for the Drunk Elephant. It’s not because this is a gel texture. I really like it though, especially in the day time.
Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator
I cannot stop misting this on my face. I use it as a toner but also as a mist throughout the day when my skin needs a top up of hydration. I want a barrell of this installed in my house attached so I never have to worry about running out… it’s absolutely divine. I can totally understand why people love this so much.
Clarins Double Serum
I’m not sure why this gets frowned upon by so many people. I suspect it’s something to do with the fact that it’s not hugely ‘active’ and doesn’t contain an acid or retinoid. What it does contain is 21 plant extracts and oils, all of which are extremely nurturing and nourishing on the skin. I love it – my skin feels comforted, soft, hydrated when using. Although it’s got oil content in it and you can absolutely feel the oil, it’s a great product if you want to try some oils out, but don’t want the heaviness traditionally associated with facial oils.
REN Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream
I can’t think what influenced me to buy this one. I think it might have been because if I spent a certain amount at REN I got some free goodies. 😂 Nevertheless, I’m so glad I picked this up. It’s a beautiful, moisturising cream. It also leaves a really nice soft-focus finish on the skin.
Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced UV Face Fluid SPF50
Hands down my most recommended product. So many people do not wear sunscreen daily, and when they come to me for advice, the first thing I ask them to do is to start wearing a sunscreen. And this is the sunscreen I recommend to them. It’s so lightweight and also really affordable. You won’t even know you’re wearing sunscreen. Please try it!
