Oskia Super C Capsules Vs No7 Vitamin C Capsules

Oskia Super C Capsules No7 Vitamin C Capsules

I had a few questions about how the Oskia Super C Smart-Nutrient Beauty Capsules and the No7 Vitamin C Capsules compared.

There are a few differences between the two and I want to aim to highlight those differences and also say which one I prefer.

Texture

The No7 Capsules have a silicone feel to them, very much like the Indeed Labs Vitamin C-24. The Oskia capsules are oil based and have a light oil texture. I prefer the texture of the Oskia, because it’s more suitable for my dry skin.

Ingredients

No7’s key ingredients are Ascorbic Acid with Vitamin E.  Oskia’s key ingredients is Encapsulated Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Vitamin E, Jojoba Seed & Sweet Almond Oils & Squalane.  I have deliberately not included the percentage for each product, because I don’t think it’s always fair to compare based on percentages of ingredients. It’s the formulation that matters.

🍊 Value for Money

No7 costs £19.95 and gives you 30 capsules (approx. £0.66 per capsule). Oskia’s cost £68.00 and gives you 60 capsules (approx. £1.13 per capsule).  Neither are what I would call particularly cheap. If used once daily, the No7 will cost you £19.95 a month whereas the Oskia will cost you £68.00 every 2 months. I think you have to decide if it’s worth investing in these, or just buying a serum from another brand that may last you 3 months for a cost somewhere in the middle.

🍊 Results

Both work great and I’ve seen results whilst using both products.  Both help even my skin tone, and also help give me a glow.  As a dry skinned person, I feel the Oskia ones benefit me more due to the added boost of hydration from the oil.

I would be happy to use either – they’re really nice if you can afford it, and having them in capsule form is perfect for travel.  You also don’t have to worry about the product expiring, because they’re not exposed to air until the capsule is broken.  However, I feel you can get a bit more for your money by going for an option that’s not capsulated. An example would be the Medik8 C-Tetra serum, which will last you a good 3-4 months of daily use.

Have you tried either?  What base do you prefer your Vitamin C to be in?  What are your thoughts on encapsulated skincare in general?
