Megashade a new launch from Zitsticka that I’ve been using for a few weeks now and have been absolutely loving.

What is it?

A light-weight, serum-like, broad-spectrum, mineral-chemical hybrid sunscreen designed for breakout-prone and sensitive skins.

What do I think?

They have added loads of other skin-friendly ingredients, making it so much more than just a sunscreen. It contains Vitamin C and Ferlulic Acid for brightening and antioxidant protection, Niacinamide and colloidal oatmeal for soothing irritation and Ceramides and Hyraluronic Acid for hydration.

Megashade is my go-to at the moment in this hot weather due to its lightweight consistency.

The texture is beautiful, leaving a really nice priming/smoothing effect on the skin. I’d imagine it would work really well under make-up. There is a glow when it’s applied, but I think it’s a really flattering healthy skin glow as opposed to a greasy glow. There is no white-cast at all.

I was a little worried that because this was aimed at breakout-prone skin I would find it a little drying, but I’m pleased to report I didn’t experience any dryness when using this.

The instructions tell you to apply one full dropper. I personally find it a little hard to completely fill the dropper, so I measure out three fingers worth of product instead just to be sure my face, neck and ears are covered.

Would I recommend?

Yes – it’s a lovely sunscreen. I think with me being dry, I would use this in the Summer months and opt for something a little heavier in Winter.
