Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cream Review

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cream

I always feel like I’m indulging in a bit of luxury when using Kate Somerville products.  I absolutely adore the Goat Milk Cleanser, so it stands to reason that I would also love the Goat Milk Moisturising Cream. Right? Here is my Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cream review.

What is it?

A moisturiser designed for sensitive, dry skin types.

What do I think?

This is aimed at those with sensitive, dry skin, but gentle enough for all skin types.  It’s mildly exfoliating due to the natural lactose included in the Goat Milk. It’s a thin, runny, wet consistency so if you like a thick barrier cream then you will much prefer the DeliKate Recovery Cream by the same brand.

For those wondering, it doesn’t smell the same as the cleanser at all. I happen to love the smell of the cleanser so there is a small part of me that wishes the moisturiser smelt the same.

I find it feels hydrating, cooling and refreshing when applied, so I can understand the claims that it helps soothe redness.  The absorption is great, and I’m pleased to report any tightness is instantly put to bed the minute the product is applied.  It also works very well with other products. I’ve already repurchased this because I love it so much. A bit expensive, but you can often get it on sale somewhere, or included within a gift set.

Would I recommend?

Yes – for my skin type this is a fantastic moisturiser. It immediately relieves tightness, and this feeling lasts throughout the day.
