BLUR London launched a range of three products back in September, and I was sent them to review. I know a lot of you are loving their products at the moment. BLUR London want their products to be accessible, and for people to notice a difference when using them.

Their range, which consists of a cleanser, toner and moisturiser, is aimed at Oily/Combination skins. The total opposite of mine. I was intrigued to see how someone with dry/dehydrated that’s prone to blemishes would get along with them. I opted to try the cleanser and toner.

🖤 Everyday Cleanser

One thing that surprised me was just how gentle this was. Being aimed at Oily/Combination skins I had concerns I would find this quite stripping. It’s PH-Balanced and formulated with Salicylic and Lactic acids for deep pore cleansing and also contains Hyper-fermented Cotton and Dragon fruit. It’s a foaming, but not an overly foaming cleanser (if that makes any sense at all 😂). I like using this when my skin feels a little bit ‘clogged’ but I don’t want to use an acid. After use, my skin doesn’t feel dry, so I actually think most skin types could use this.

🖤 Rebalancing Toner

Their rebalancing toner promises to help with skin tone, oil control and minimise the look of pores by using Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Hyper-fermented organic Rice and the root of the Ashwagandha plant. I really love the milky texture of this. It’s definitely for those of you with oily/combination or maybe even normal skin who want to combat oiliness/blemishes. I find it a little bit drying after it’s been on for a while. That’s fine – they’re very clear who the product is aimed for, but I’m glad I got to give it a try. It might work better for me in summer when I’m less dry and impacted by the cold/central heating. I’ll pass this on to one of my friends who has oily/combination skin and I’ll feedback her thoughts.

They also do a lightweight, soft-touch mattifying moisturiser that is really popular with those who have tried it. It’s worth checking that one out if you like the sound of the products above.

Which one would you most like to try?
