I’m a lover of the @skincityuk skincare range. I’ve loved all the products I’ve tried from the range. They have fantastic formulations and they’re all developed by skin therapists and chemists with experience and knowledge. What more can you ask for?
They’ve been on a little bit of a re-brand recently and updated their packaging, so the product photographed now comes in a dropper (😢 booo 👎) and has been renamed to Multi Action Serum.
This is a serum I’ve really been enjoying in my routines. It’s got 9 different peptides, 2 different Hyaluronic Acids and Licorice Root Extract to name a few ingredients that will help promote elasticity, target fine lines and wrinkles, hydrate the skin and provide a more even skin tone.
The texture is a little bit thick. It feels lovely on the skin and gives a good amount of hydration. I personally like to use this both morning and night. It layers well with other brands products and is so easy to slot into your routine.
Peptides are chains of amino acids that act as proteins (collagen, elastin and keratin). These proteins are the foundations of your skin. When applied using a serum, peptides act as little messengers, triggering skin cells to perform specific functions such as building collagen and elastin, encouraging skin to look and act younger. I don’t feel like they’re a quick fix, but you do see differences as you use them over time.
One of the things I like most about peptides is that they should not cause you any irritation at all, making them a safe solution for all skins.
I think this is a great serum and the price is a really good one (£27.00), considering you are getting a really good amount of peptides. Most brands would charge a lot more for only having 1-3 peptides within the product.
