I picked this up this Embryolisse Hydra-Cream with Orange Extract in my local Superdrug when I was on my lunch break and I felt like my skin needed a bit of extra moisture. I’ve used the original version in the past, so I wondered what the one with Orange Extract would be like.
What is it?
A bit of a multitasker. Primarily it’s a moisturiser, but it also has its uses as a cleanser, a primer, and hydrating mask.
What Do I Think?
If you haven’t ever tried an Embryolisse Moisturiser then you are definitely missing out. They’ve been a weapon of choice for makeup artists around the world for years. It not only makes for a fantastic primer, but it also hydrates the skin extremely well whilst giving the skin a beautiful glow, without ever being greasy.
The original Lait-Crème Concentré is also multifunctional – you’re able to use it as a moisturiser and/or primer and also as a cleanser.
It’s made for those with normal to dehydrated skin and will instantly moisturise the skin giving it a plump, soft, radiant complexion. I think those with oily skin would find this too much for use, but for my dry/dehydrated skin it’s perfect.
This one in particular has been formulated with Orange Extract, Vitamin E, Sweet Almond and Sesame Oils and beeswax. There is a very, very faint smell of orange to it.
It applies gorgeously to the skin, instantly hydrating it and giving it a wonderful natural glow. It’s become a moisturiser I carry around with me if I feel like I need a little bit of extra moisture throughout the day.

How I Use It
In the morning or evening after serums. If wearing in the morning, I will layer a sunscreen on top. I also like it as a hydration top-up late afternoon.
Would I Repurchase/Buy?
Yes! If not this one, I will repurchase the original version. I think the Embryolisse moisturisers have the loveliest textures and are so hydrating.
