I’m such a lover of the Skin Proud products. They’re all super affordable, live up to their claims, are easy to slot into your routines and are just so nice to use. I was sent a couple of their products to try out and I’ve been using them over the last couple of weeks.
Wonder Clay Cleanser
This really is a really unique product. The brand say its a cream-to-clay cleanser, but I actually think it’s a clay-to-cream cleanser. It’s designed to balance the skin, reduce oil and blemishes and deeply cleanse. You apply it like a clay mask to dry skin and leave for a few minutes. Then you add water and the texture turns to a whipped soft-foaming creamy texture that just feels glorious on the skin. I thought this might be a little bit drying for my dry skin type, but it’s really hydrating. It’s perfect if you’re having a mild breakout or you want to target visible pores.
Bright Eyes Pomegranate Gel-Cream
I’m a lover of a good brightening eye cream, and this is a really good one. They’ve formulated this with antioxidant Pomegranate Extract, hydrating and smoothing Shea Butter and brightening Niacinamide. The result is an eye area that looks awake, bright and hydrated. It’s perfect first thing Monday morning when you might need a little extra help looking awake.
Frozen Over Gel-to-Ice Hydrator
Another totally unique product that I haven’t come across before. It’s a gel-moisturiser packed with Hyaluronic Acid to revitalise, hydrate and plump the skin. The texture feels really nice on the skin. What makes this unique? Well, it can be used at room temperature, but you can also pop it in the freezer to make it cooling and soothing skin rescuer. When using direct from the freezer, it works wonderfully at de-puffing. I expect this will be really nice come the warmer months when we’ll all need a bit of cooling.
