Curel Deep Moisture Spray Review

Curel Deep Moisture Spray

If you’re in need of a good hydrating mist this Winter than you can’t do any better than the Curel Deep Moisture Spray. It’s super popular at the moment, and for a very good reason. Curel is the number one brand for sensitive skin in Japan and their whole range is aimed around ceramides and restoring a good barrier function.

What is it?

A hydrating mist designed to give an immediate boost of hydration to the skin. It can be used on your face and body.

What Do I Think?

The Deep Moisture Spray is packed with ceramides (natural lipids/oils that form the skin’s protective barrier), and promises to replenish moisture and protect and promote a healthy skin barrier. Accordingly, not only is this great for your face, but it’s also brilliant for your body if you cant stand the feeling of lotions or creams.

Curel Deep Moisture Spray is an excellent hydrator and it has everything a healthy skin barrier could want.

The mist action is super fine – not at all hose-like.  As someone with dry skin, I can really feel this mist penetrate my parched skin and leave it feeling comfortable and hydrated instantly.

It’s absolutely perfect for anyone who needs a quick hydration boost throughout the day, under or over makeup.  You could also use it as your toner step if you wanted to put some moisture back into the skin post-cleanse.

Would I Recommend?

Yes, I do. All skin types would probably benefit from using this in the colder seasons, but it’s particularly good if you’re dry or dehydrated.

Brands Product Description

Clean, purified glycolic acid deeply exfoliates and repairs the look of dull, congested, and sun damaged skin for a visibly radiant, healthier-looking complexion.

Key Ingredients

  • Ceramides – natural lipids/oils that form the skins protective barrier
  • Glycerin – works as a humectant drawing moisture from the air. It’s an excellent hydrator.
  • Allantoin – a great skin soother. It helps to stop itchiness/irritation and moisturises the skin.

How I Use It

I usually use this on my face. Occasionally I will use it in summer on my body when I just can’t stand the feel of a lotion. Most of the time I would use it either like a traditional toner (after cleansing), or as a boost of hydration between skincare steps or throughout the day.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Yes, I have repurchased this a few times. I always take advantage when it’s on offer in Boots.

How Much?

£19.50 for 150ml. The price lets it down a little bit because nearly £20 for a mist is quite pricey. But, like I said before, I tend to stock up when it’s on offer.
