March is finally here and I am certainly enjoying seeing the nights and mornings get a little bit lighter each day. Here’s what I empties in February:-

😍 – Already Repurchased

❤ – Would Repurchase

👎 – Not For Me

Trinny London Tiptoe In

I’ve posted a review on this before. I really liked this for a bit of gentle daily exfoliation and for glow-boosting. Tiptoe In is a Poly Hydroxy Acid (PHA) based exfoliating toner so would really suit anyone who is new to using exfoliants, or needs something that’s gentle on the skin.

I found it gave me a nice glow each day and my skin always felt super smooth whilst using it. I also really liked that due to the thicker texture you apply straight to your skin rather than using a cotton pad. This lasted me months so I think it’s excellent value for money.

Evy Technology Daily Defence Face Mousse SPF50 (AD/PR)

I posted a review on this recently, and I think this is one of the nicest sunscreens out there. The satin finish on the skin is really complimentary, and it’s not in any way heavy or greasy. It soaks into the skin like a dream and I really enjoyed using it.

Lumene Oat Milk Cleanser (AD/PR)

This was really nice to use during the colder winter days when I needed as much hydration as possible when I cleansed my face. It always left my skin feeling clean, but also incredibly nourished. I used this morning or night depending on my mood and how parched my skin felt.

👎 La Mer Moisturising Cream

If you saw my recent post regarding this, you’ll not be surprised to know that I wouldn’t repurchase this. I wouldn’t mind receiving it as a gift for Christmas or something, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it. It’s just a nice moisturiser, and I don’t feel as though I would miss anything by not having it in my routine.

❤ Oskia Super-C Capsules

Full review coming soon, but I absolutely love these.

❤ REN Vita Mineral Lip Balm

I think this might be discontinued now, which is a shame because I really liked this. I would apply before bed and wake up to nice, hydrated lips. It didn’t feel too heavy either which I most liked about this. I can’t stand the feeling of having greasy lips. This was enough to hydrate but without overloading them.

❤ Garnier Anti-Dryness Super UV SPF50+

If you’ve got dry skin and need a budget-friendly sunscreen then look no further. It’s hydrating, plays extremely will when layering with other products and it leaves a flattering glow on the skin. It doesn’t feel too heavy or too thick and there is zero white cast. I often say you can’t go wrong with a Garnier sunscreen, and this is case in point of that. I’ve got their new Super UV Serum to try, so I’ll be sure to post a review of that when I’ve given it a try.

❤ Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Cream

This has featured on my blog so many times and I often say this is a winter essential for me. I love it. It’s perfect for winter skin or if your barrier is compromised. The texture is beautifully thick and rich, but really does melt like butter when massaged in. I’ve always got a pot of this on the go.

❤ No7 Pure Retinol Night Cream

I used this primarily on nights when I wanted some form of retinol in my routine but didn’t want to use anything too strong. The retinol percentage in this is likely to be low and the fact that it’s contained within a moisturiser means that it’s going to be a lot more beginner friendly than other serums out there. This would be great for those of you who are really sensitive to retinol, or if you haven’t ever used it before.

The texture is on the heavier side, but also extremely soft. It’s not the most hydrating moisturiser I’ve ever used, but it works well when layered with a nice hydrating serum.
