Anyone who reads my posts knows I’m an avid TKMaxx shopper. I seriously am obsessed with it. I buy everything from skincare, haircare, clothes, home stuff in there. This was another amazing TKMaxx find. I picked up this Elemis Pro-Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser sometime last year.
What is it?
A gel cleanser that promises to clean the skin whilst energising it.
What Do I Think?
The Elemis Pro-Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser to me this is the perfect morning cleanse (or second cleanse if you’re a double cleanser).
I tend to opt to use it for the morning because I find there’s something really refreshing and cooling. It feels so nice on the skin first thing and has the most amazing scent. The texture feels light, but it really does make you skin feel nice and clean post-cleanse.
The scent is beautiful too. It’s a real aqua-like scent, invoking visions of the sea or water as you cleanse your face. For this reason, I really like it in the Summer months.
There’s a slight lather to it, which I love, without it going into the overly foaming territory.
The beauty of this cleanser is that a little goes along way. A half a pump of it is enough to do your face and neck, meaning that this could potentially last you months.
Elemis have formulated this with a trio of acids. Succinic and Lactic acid are there to mildly exfoliate the skin, breaking down the ‘glue’ between dead skin cells. helps to moisturise. It also contains hydrating Ferulic Acid and Padina Pavonica – a brown algae for its moisturising properties. There’s also a host of minerals, such as Magnesium, Zinc and Copper.
On a superficial level, I’m also obsessed with the blue packaging.
Would I Recommend?
Yes, it’s a really nice cleanser. It feels amazing on the skin and makes cleansing that little bit more enjoyable.

How I Use It

Would I Repurchase/Buy?
I would – I really enjoyed it. I think I might treat myself to it for the coming Summer months.
