Fenty Skin Flash Nap Instant Revival Eye Gel-Cream Review

Fenty Skin Flash Nap Instant Revival Eye Gel-Cream

I’d been wanting to try this Fenty Skin Flash Nap Instant Revival Eye Gel-Cream for a while, so when I saw it in TKMaxx for a reduced price, you better believe I snapped it up.

I’ve tried a lot of the Fenty Skin products in the past and loved them.  I’m adding this to the list of products I love.

What is it?

A hydrating, brightening eye cream.

What Do I Think?

When applied, it’s instantly cooling to the eye area, making it great first thing in the morning when your eyes need awakening. It’s also super hydrating for such a lightweight gel-cream texture. There’s a pearlescent finish to the cream, which really helps to brighten the eye area. It’s not going to rid bags or dark circles (you’ll need concealer for that) – but it does help reduce the puffiness slightly and the light reflective properties help dark circles look reduced.

I prefer to use this in the day time due to the brightening effect, and I wear something a bit richer or retinol based at night. There’s a host of wonderful ingredients in this one – horse chestnut for helping to reduce puffiness, Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and Green Tea for antioxidant protection.

The texture is smoothing, so it I would imagine it would make a fantastic base for concealer.

Would I Recommend?

Yes – if you need a hydrating, brightening or cooling eye cream. If fine lines are your concern you’re going to need something with peptides or retinol in it.

Brands Product Description

Like a flash nap in a tube: fake your eight hours and give off well-rested vibes anytime, anywhere. Works on contact to reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles, while plumping the look of fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet instantly and over time.

Key Ingredients

  • Horse Chestnut – helps reduce puffiness.
  • Hyaluronic Acid – hydrates the area by drawing moisture from the atmosphere.
  • Persian Silk Tree – Silk-like petals help counteract signs of fatigue and ageing

How I Use It

I’d use this in the morning for its brightening and cooling effects. You could use it in the evening, but I’d probably opt for something with retinol or peptides in for the evening.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Overall, it’s a nice eye cream. I would repurchase for sure.

How Much?

£30.00 for 15ml. I’ll be honest and say whilst I liked the Fenty Skin Flash Nap Instant Revival Eye Gel-Cream, I’m not sure I’d pay £30.00 for it. I’d only purchase it if I could get a discount.
