Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser Review

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

The Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser featured in my empties recently and I thought it was good enough to warrant its own post on my feed.

What is it?

The Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser is a nourishing, gentle, gel, non-foaming cleanser that doesn’t cost the earth!

What Do I Think?

I had read previously that this wouldn’t be suited for dry skins, but I have to totally disagree – my dry skin thought it was excellent. They’ve formulated this to be soothing and pH-balanced so I actually think most, if not all, skin types could get on with this quite well.

There’s two ways you can use this – either apply straight to dry skin for makeup removal, or by applying to wet skin. My preferred method was applying to wet skin since I don’t wear makeup.  I used it in the morning and evening (as a second cleanse) and my skin never felt stripped or dry after using it, just soft, hydrated and clean. I wouldn’t say it’s as milky as I was expecting, definitely more on the gel side, but that’s fine because it was still nice to use.

It’s unfragranced which is great if you are sensitive to fragrance. I generally prefer fragrance in my cleansers, but it didn’t stop me reaching for this daily.

Would I Recommend?

Yes. I liked it and reached for it often over other cleansers I had opened at the time.
