We’re often told bigger isn’t better, but the exception to that rule is the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cleanser which has now been released in Jumbo size!
If you’ve read my posts for a while, I often say this is my favourite cleanser of all time. I am obsessed with it. Imagine my excitement when they released the Jumbo version, which is twice the size of the original.
I love Goat Milk because it is very nourishing on the skin, which is just what I need being someone with dry skin. It’s never left my skin feeling dry or tight post-cleanse.
I haven’t found a cleanser quite like the Goat Milk Cleanser before. It’s a rich creamy cleanser, which ever-so-slightly lathers on the skin. It’s an excellent first or second cleanse, though most double-cleansers opt to use it for a second cleanse.
The story behind the creation of the Goat Milk Cleanser is that Kate Somerville, the founder of the brand, suffered with eczema as a child and her mother would bathe her in Goat Milk to soothe the skin. Years later, the Goat Milk Cleanser was created for those with sensitive, dry skin.
What makes it so nourishing is the ingredients – Goat Milk is good for soothing dry and sensitive skin thanks to the milk proteins, whilst Manuka Honey nourishes the skin, and Jojoba and Avocado Oils provide moisturisation.
The experience of using the Goat Milk Cleanser is exemplified thanks to the beautiful, soft, sweet vanilla scent.
Another thing I like is that a tube will last months because you really do not need to use a lot to get a good cleanse.
