I feel like I can’t say Hyaluronic Acid now without saying it the way Eva Longoria says it in the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum adverts 🤣 If you know, you know.

What is it?

A hydrating serum, unsurprisingly packed with hydrating ingredients.

What Do I Think?

This was one of my favourite hydrating serums that I have used this year.  I really feel L’Oreal Paris are releasing some really interesting products recently, and it’s great because it means we have more choice when it comes to high-street/drugstore skincare 🙌

They’ve formulated this with two types of Hyaluronic Acid – Macro Hyaluronic Acid which are larger molecules and sit at the top of the skins surface to add hydration and Micro Hyaluronic Acid which are smaller and go deeper into the skin to boost hydration from within.

I think if you’re super oily, you may get away with just using this as a moisturiser in your routine, especially over summer.

I liked that this was really hydrating, but also that it layered so well with a manner of different products whether they were L’Oreal products or not.  When I used it, my skin felt supple, smoother, and plumper. It was particularly good if my barrier was impaired because it didn’t sting my skin.

Another great thing about the L’Oreal products is that they are always on offer somewhere, so you will regularly be able to pick it up at a good price.

Would I Recommend?

Yes – I really liked it. It’s just a nice hydrating serum. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not life changing in terms of it won’t rewind time like the adverts will have you believe, but I liked it for its hydrating properties.

Brands Product Description

Smooth, non-greasy and non-sticky, the formula absorbs quickly so it can be layered with your regular day or night care regime.

Key Ingredients

  • Macro Hyaluronic Acid – Hydrates and smooths the skin’s surface.

How I Use It

I’d use this morning or evening after cleansing and using a hydrating toner/mist. I’d then follow with a Vitamin C in the morning or Retiniod at night before following with moisturiser and/or sunscreen.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Yes. I emptied this in November and posting this review today makes me really miss it. I think it might end up in my basket next time I’m in the supermarket.

How Much?

£24.99 for 30ml. It’s ALWAYS on offer somewhere, so you can probably avoid paying full price for it.
