This was my evening routine a couple months back and I thought I’d post it as a little bit of a Evening Skincare Routine Inspo post. It’s targeting my main concerns – anti-ageing and hydration.
Cleanse 1 – Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm*
I’ve posted about this numerous of times, but it’s an excellent first (or second to be fair) cleanse. It will easily melt down sunscreen and makeup, but never leave the skin feeling stripped or dry.
✨ Cleanse 2 – Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
I don’t double cleanse all the time, but when I do I want something that’s gentle and nourishing. This is exactly what you get with this – it’s kind to the skin and never leaves it feeling stripped.
✨ Treatment 1 – Allies of Skin Multi Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum
I believe all routines should incorporate a hydrating serum of some kind, and this one is a total winner. You could easily use this as your only treatment step thanks to the added peptides and antioxidants.
✨ Treatment 2 – Trinny London Overnight Sensation Retinal Serum
I think this might just be one of the best retinoid serums I’ve ever used. You really see the results the product claims to do. I noticed a brighter, younger, even, firmer complexion whilst using this.
✨ Eye Cream – Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream*
In the evening I love a nice rich eye cream and this delivers exactly that. It’s thick, moisturising and just a pleasure to use.
✨ Moisturiser – Lumene Nordic Hydra Intense Hydration Moisturiser*
Super lightweight but really packs a punch on the hydration front. I so need to repurchase this because it really is a fantastic moisturiser.
✨ Lip Care – Superdrug Me+ Peptide Lip Balm
Vanilla scented, which firstly I love. But I also love that there’s a peptide in here to help with fine lines. Genius.
