No7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream Review

No7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream

The No7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream is one of my favourite retinol eye creams ever.   You get all the benefits of retinol but with zero irritation.

What is it?

The No7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream is a eye cream designed to treat the main concern we have about our eye area – fine lines and wrinkles.

What Do I Think?

If there’s going to be any area of my face that gets irritation, it will generally be the eye area or the tops of my cheeks.  I can use this retinol eye cream every night and not get any irritation at all – which is the sign of an amazing formulation 🙌

The texture of the cream isn’t too rich or heavy, but not too light either. It’s designed to naturally buffer the drying effectives of the retinol.

No7 spend a lot of time researching and formulating their products. Its one of the things I really love about them as a brand. Their eye cream boasts pure retinol, soothing ingredients such as bisabobol and ceramides, peptides, Glycerin in a shea butter base.  The result is an eye cream that supports well-aging and is super hydrating without any irritation.

It’s absolutely worth trying if you can – and its quite frequently on special offer.

Would I Recommend?

I would! Not only is it quite effective, but it’s also really good if you are prone to sensitivity around the eye area.

Brands Product Description

Experience the power of 0.5% pure retinol and No7’s famous MATRIXYL 3000+ collagen peptide technology. This dermatologically tested cream is specifically designed for the gentle eye area and delivers the power of retinol without the irritation. The lightweight formula targets the appearance of key signs of ageing around the eyes: fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet, dark circles, puffiness and uneven skin tone. With continued use, skin looks firmer, brighter, more even and hydrated.

Key Ingredients

  • Retinol – A form of Vitamin A – the gold standard when it comes to anti ageing skincare due to its ability to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Shea Butter and Bisabolol – Soothes and hydrates the skin to buffer the effects of the retinol.
  • Retinol Optimiser – an intelligent slow-release oil encapsulation system for enhanced delivery of pure retinol.
  • Matrixyl 3000 – A peptide that helps stimulate collagen production.

How I Use It

In the evening only. I’d apply a rice-grain amount to my ring finger, and gently massage into the eye area. I actually take this one over the eyelids too. I wouldn’t recommend everyone does this, but it worked ok for me.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Yes I would – I really liked it and thought it was a good price for a retinol eye cream.

How Much?

£24.95 for 15ml. Never pay full price for a No7 product. They’re always on discount at some point, or there’s usually a 3 for 2 offer.
