Oskia Super-C Capsules Review

Oskia Super-C Capsules

Oskia is a brand I haven’t delved into too much, but I picked their Super-C Smart Nutrient Beauty Capsules and used them over the winter period.

What is it?

Oskia’s Super-C Capsules contain an oil-based, stabilised Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a fantastic antioxidant and the benefits of it when applied topically to the skin is of course protection against free radicals, but also promoting a brighter, even skin tone. Paired with the Vitamin C is Vitamin E, which helps to support the Vitamin C. The oil base for these capsules is Squalane which improves hydration levels within the skin.

What Do I Think?

For my dry skin, these were absolute perfection, which is why I loved them so much and opted to use them in the winter when my skin is at its driest. They felt extremely nourishing on my skin, and I absolutely saw a brighter, more even skin tone whilst using them. The oil content isn’t too heavy either, so my skin absorbed it well and it didn’t seem to just ‘sit’ on my skin like some oils can.

Each capsule contained just the right amount of product to cover my face and neck. The capsules themselves are biodegradable, meaning you can literally throw them in your garden and they will degrade.

These played extremely well with other products. Sometimes oil based products can be tricky to layer, but that was not the case here.

These aren’t the cheapest by any means – you get 60 caspules for £70 (works out at £1.16 for each capsule or use). However, the effects I saw were fantastic and they really did help relieve my dry skin from the harsh winter weather, so I really feel they were worth the price.

Being capsule form, they’re also excellent for travel because you can pop a couple into your bag and not have to worry about them leaking or spilling.

Would I Recommend?

Yes. If your skin is like mine (dry and dehydrated) you’ll get on well with these. Whilst you get good brightening results, the Vitamin in the capsules is not at a high percentage so they’re good if you’re quite sensitive. I think if you’re particularly oily, you wouldn’t like these.
