Budget-friendly skincare brands are always welcome and I’ve been really enjoying slotting some of these into my routines since I received these in January.

Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Cleanser

What is it?
This is a perfect gel morning or second cleanse. It’s a foaming cleanser, but not in a harsh or abrasive way – it never left my skin feeling dry or tight post-cleanse. I found it really refreshing to use in the morning. This contains Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate, Coco Betaine is what gives it that gentle foaming action, and Aloe Vera hydrates.

Targets
It’s a cleanser so it will help remove dirt, sunscreen and makeup.

What’s in it?
Hyaluronic Acid – Hydrates the skin.
Coco Betaine – A cleansing agent that gives it a foam. It’s gentle and kind to skin unlike other cleansing agents.
Aloe Vera – Soothes the skin and hydrates it.

Who is it for?
Anyone could use this!

How to use
Wet face and then apply a small amount to hands and massage into your face. Rinse afterwards.

Price
£7.50 – 125ml

Marine Hyaluronate Toning Lotion

What is it?
One of the most hydrating toners you will ever use. It’s not like a usual watery-toner – this has a thicker gel-like texture (more like an essence). It provides immediate relief to dry and tight skin and will prep the skin well to receive any serums you apply afterwards.

Targets
Dehydration/Dryness.

What’s in it?
Giant Kelp Algae Extract – Helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and slows waterloss in the skin.
Hyaluronic Acid – Hydrates the skin by drawing in moisture from the atmosphere.
Squalane – Moisturises the skin.

Who is it for?
All skins need hydration, so anyone could also use this!

How to use
Dispense into hands and pat into the face.

Price
£8.00 – 100ml

Ceramide Barrier Defence Face Cream

What is it?
This product screamed my name when I first saw it. Ceramides are an ingredient I love in my moisturiser because I’m all about supporting a strong barrier alongside use of active ingredients. It’s a rich moisturiser, but not overly heavy and suffocating on the skin. It melts into the skin beautifully and leaves it feeling moisturised and comfortable.

Targets
Dehydration/Dryness.

What’s in it?
Pineapple Fruit Extract – Rich in Vitamin E, K & naturally occuring ceramides. Moisturises and brightens the skin.
Ceramides – Help maintain and restore a healthy skin barrier.
Pro Vitamin-E – An antioxidant with moisturising properties.
Squalane – Moisturises the skin.

Who is it for?
This would probably suit a more normal to dry skin type. It might be a little too much for someone who’s super oily, especially in the day.

How to use
Apply a small amount to the face and massage in.

Price
£12.00 – 50ml

Vitamin C Brightening Serum

What is it?
A Vitamin C serum, designed to brighten and provide antioxidant protection. haven’t been able to try this one yet because I’ve been working my way through a difference Vitamin C product, but this sounds like it will be a winner for the price. They say this is moisturising enough to be used on its own, as its like a cross between a serum and moisturiser.

Targets
Dullness, dehydration/dryness, finelines, hyperpigmentation

What’s in it?
Vitamin C – A known skin brightener and antioxidant. Also helps reduce dark spots.
Volcanic Soil – Helps keep the Vitamin C stable.
Hyaluronic Acid – Hydrates the skin.

Who is it for?
This would probably suit a more normal to dry skin type. It might be a little too much for someone who’s super oily, especially in the day.

How to use
Apply a small amount to the face and massage in.

Price
£12.00 – 50ml
