I just had to post about these because I think they’re genius. So we all know by now I’m a big fan of the Trinny London skincare. Recently, they’ve launched travel-sized versions of their skincare, named Trinny London Skincare Starter Sets. I picked some up ahead of some trips I have planned this year.
At the time I bought these, only cleanse and moisturise options were available, but they’ve since launched additional sets containing their Retinoids. (See my review of the cleansers here and of the Bounce Back Moisturiser here).
What I really like about these are they are so convenient and easy for travel. If you aren’t aware, Trinny London originally started their brand by creating stackable make-up. With these travel-sized skincare releases, they have gone back to their routes and made them stackable. Genius!
The satisfaction of snapping/clicking the pots together is indescribable. If I’m on a teams meeting at work, I’ll often find myself just sitting there snapping and unsnapping them together if they’re in reach. It’s like, so relaxing, and I can’t explain why 😂 I guess it reminds me a little bit of being a kid and playing with Lego?
The pots give you a generous amount of product, which means you don’t have to worry about running out half way through your trip. When you’ve emptied these pots, you can always refill them from your full-size Trinny London products, or products from another brand. Also included are little spatulas so you don’t have to dip your fingers into the product. This is another good idea, since when travelling you’re never quite sure if your fingers are totally clean.
They’re also great if you just want to try the products before you purchase a full-size.
