The Versed Dew Point Moisturising Gel Cream has quite a following.  I see a lot of you loving it, so I was excited to give it a try when it was sent to me earlier in the year.

What is it?

A gel-moisturiser designed to hydrate the skin and give it a flattering dewy glow.

What Do I Think?

You’ve got everything you need in this light-weight gel-cream – Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Leaf Juice, Green Tea, Glycerin – everything you’d expect from a light weight gel-cream.

There is a slight cooling effect when applied and it sunk in really well. It feels really light-weight on the skin, so I can absolutely see why this is primarily aimed at those with oily skin, with the brand promising it won’t block your pores.

For the record, I have dry skin and it was the perfect summer daytime moisturiser for me. I tend to prefer lighter textures in summer, and this quenched my skins thirst really well.  It wouldn’t be enough for my skin in winter, but summer I could use it quite happily.

For those worried about looking ‘dewy’ – it left a nice subtle glow that wasn’t too much.

It layered well with other products, whether they were Versed products or not.

Would I Recommend?

Yes – it’s well worth the money if you’re looking for a gel moisturiser this summer.

Brands Product Description

Looking for bouncy skin? Choose a bouncy moisturizer. This lightweight moisturizing gel-cream with a jelly-like texture absorbs instantly and disappears into your skin, leaving it feeling refreshed, never greasy. Sodium hyaluronate (like hyaluronic acid it helps draw in and retain moisture in skin) and aloe leaf juice hydrate while natural antioxidants found in green tea soothe skin, fight damaging free radicals, and quiet inflammation. Best of all this daily moisturizer won’t clog pores. There’s a reason one Dew Point sells every two minutes.

Key Ingredients

  • Sodium Hyaluronate – A derivative of Hyaluronic Acid. Acts like a sponge, retaining moisture within the skin.
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract – An anitoxdant which helps protect against free radical damage.
  • Aloe Leaf Juice – Has a soothing and calming effect on the skin, as well as being very hydrating.

How I Use It

For me this was a morning moisturiser. You could easily use it in the evening, I just prefer a creamy texture in the evening.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Yes I would – even more so when its summer and I want something light but also hydrating.

How Much?

£13.50 in @bootsuk and regularly on offer too.
