Simple Protect ‘N’ Glow Radiance Booster SPF30

I was in my local supermarket browsing the skincare aisle when I noticed this Simple Protect ‘N’ Glow Radiance Booster SPF30. I picked it up thinking it was going to be a nice milky-lightweight sunscreen, but it really isn’t.

What is it?

A facial oil with SPF30.

What Do I Think?

Whilst I have no objections to facial oils, I kind of can’t understand an oil-based sunscreen. It just reminds me of ‘the old days’ when you would go on holiday abroad and douse yourself in oil in order to get a good tan 😂🙈

Simple market this as a Moisturiser SPF that can be used alone or as a primer before or after your face cream.  In order to get adequate protection, you’d end up looking like an oil slip bearing in mind that you would only normally use a few drops when using a facial oil. Whilst it’s a nice facial oil (not too heavy or greasy in small doses), I wouldn’t rely on this as your sole protection for the day. I would only use a few drops layer a cream based sunscreen on top just to ensure you are adequately protected.

Would I Recommend?

I love a bit of Simple skincare, but I find this just a little bit confusing to use. I would look at this as a facial oil with a bit of SPF protection, but not as a sole SPF.

How I Use It

I don’t really use the Simple Protect ‘N’ Glow Radiance Booster SPF30 because I can’t workout how to slot it into my routine… If I was going to use it, I’d use it in my serum or moisturiser stage.
