As a lover of all things Philip Kingsley I was super excited to give the Density Preserving Scalp Drops a try.  This is a serum for your scalp that aims to reduce hair fall and preserve hair density, meaning your locks look fuller.

My hair is thinning over so slightly around my temples. It’s nothing that anyone else would notice, but I notice it. I don’t think I’m going bald, but I think my hair is just thinning with age, like a lot of men’s hair do. The key thing with this serum is that you need to give it a good three months in order to see results.

What’s in it?

The key ingredients are Azelaic Acid, Pyridoxine HCL and Zinc PC which work together to keep the hair follicle healthy and reduce oiliness on the scalp. Saw Palmetto is a fruit-derived extract which helps reduce hair loss. Antimicrobial Piroctone Olamine helps to target the cause of dandruff and stop it in its tracks. Finally, caffeine helps to stimulate and awaken the scalp.

How to use it?

To use this, you simply apply the drops directly to washed hair and massage into the scalp. You are supposed to put this all over your scalp, but since I want to target a specific area, I just apply it to there. There’s a cooling, slightly tingling sensation for a few seconds when first applied, which I quite like. It makes me feel like it’s working 😂

This has lasted me a long time. I’m not four months into using this and it still feels like there’s a lot left in the bottle.

What are the results like?

In terms of results, I have absolutely noticed that my temples look thicker, and there appears less hair loss than when I started using this. I’ve been really pleased with the results. I really like the fact that I don’t feel this in my hair. It doesn’t leave a film of any sort, meaning I can carry on styling my hair with ease as usual. I’ve also noticed my scalp is a lot less prone to irritation and dandruff which is another huge bonus.

Is hair loss something that concerns you?
